There are many countries around the world. 

We are going to learn about some of them.

We are going to learn about the countries and their flags 

Argentina. Capital city: Buenos Aires. 

  China. Capital city: Beijing

  Colombia. Capital city: Bogotá

  Egypt. Capital city: Cairo

  France. Capital city: Paris

  India. Capital city: New Delhi. 

  Japan. Capital city: Tokyo.

Activity # 1

1. Watch the video and learn how to pronounce the name of some countries. Select THREE of the countries named on the video and write a sentence as in the example: 

Colombia is located in South America. The capital city is Bogotá. The flag is yellow, blue and red. 

2. Watch the video and learn how to pronounce some other countries and see their flags.

Activity #3 

With the vocabulary learned in this lesson and in the previous ones you are going to:

1. Choose a country which you like the most. Then you have to write a brief text which contains the following

    
     a) why do you like this country?

     b) describe the country (location, flag, nationality, geography,                                 

         nature, and add some information that you want.)

2. Prepare an oral presentation, and create a poster in order to present the country you choose.                        

3. The activity is in groups of 4. The winner is the group which pronounce better, has   good and enough information about the country and the most important, the poster has to be creative.
